Some things to consider:
I'm concerned on the the absence of a Retail Deluxe Edition on the Canadian side. Boo! The Steelbook looks awesome. Then notice me shaking my head at how they reduced 500,000 in-game credit bonus if you go for the physical copy.
It's worth mentioning that purchasing the Launch/Standard Edition for PS5 will also grant the buyer the PS4 entitlement, so there isn't a good reason to settle for a PS4 version unless it's significantly cheaper.
I also have some reservations about how the campaign mode is Internet dependent to prevent jacking up the save data. It's not about the annoyance of ensuring your Playstation is connected to the Internet, but more on requiring another variable when playing the campaign mode. This affects the longevity of the game offline. Will we simply abandon GT7 once the servers shut down? Players will only be able to access the Arcade Mode without the Internet. Does this mean we'll be stuck with Arcade Mode and unable to collect more cars? I still play the past games just like any other gamer namely GT5 and GT6 (skipped Sport). One thing's for sure, I'm excited and expecting more news on Gran Turismo 7.

Preorders for Gran Turismo 7 is up before launch on March 4, 2022. Be sure to read on your pre-order, as there are some noticeable trade-offs on in-game credit and game entitlement. After scoring a Series X while I'm (STILL) waiting for a PS5, I've personally realized how the next-gen Xbox one upped on game ownership: Xbox One games can be played on the Series X (most if not all). You will need to purchase, or shell out additional money, to play the PS5 version of Gran Turismo 7.
Since I'm in Canada, I'll be using the Canadian side of the Playstation Store. Here is what's included for each preorder:
